database use in webdesign

by rvordahl . Updated 18 years, 10 months ago

I am very much a novice trying to increase my knowledge especially in programming. I enoy tech republic because I believe it helps me be exposed to a side I don’t see much on the wysisyg side of things. I know how to use most wysiwygs such as filemaker pro, access, dreamweaver, frontpage. My goal is to make a very heavily database driven website. I can create mainly what I want in access, still learning in file maker pro. Can I create the website in one of the two database programs and then interface it for the web using dreamweaver? or will I need to go the SQL route which I have very little understanding? Eventually I am hoping the website will have some fairly decent traffic.
