Can anyone help with a problem I have getting dates to display correctly.
I am using Excel 97 +SP 2a with UK settings.
When I format a cell to accept dates in the UK format of ‘dd/mm/yy’, I can enter them in the correct format but Excel displays them in the US format.
However, the formulae bar displays them correctly and they show correctly when I use different display formats.
e.g. if I was to enter the date as 24/05/01, Excel would display it as 05/24/01 in the cell but as 24/05/01 in the formulae bar.
Using NT4, regional settings set to English (United Kingdom) and the date format is set to dd/MM/yy
Anyone have any ideas?
