Date from Worksheet for name in VBA

By patquinn52 ·
I saw an article the other day and lost it. I need to set up worksheet titles that have the date in them using VBA code. I can concatenate text with a date but the date is the number format, not the date format I need. Date shows appropriately in cell I want to pull from.

Don't know if you still need this but if you read the cell contents as .Text
eg: ThisWorkbook.Sheets("SheetName").cells(rownumber,colnumber).Text
This will return the cell contents as a string

I did as the poster suggested, though I got an earlier answer that stated the same thing, and it worked. Thank you for your answer.
