date incorrect in WInNT

by jcdshs . Updated 22 years, 7 months ago

I recently had to upgrade the cpu/motherboard in a Win NT server to an Intel D865 GBF – a straight swap for the old mb/cpu. Rebooted machine and everything seemed OK – booted fine from SCSI hdd, loaded new graphics driver but everything else just continued on from before.
Everything seems to work ok but whenever the machine reboots windows sets the date to 12003, causing one or two services(Mcafee, ACAD licence manager) to fail. Resetting the date manually allows these services to then start.
I have checked the BIOS date, I have updated the BIOS but neither has fixed the problem.
I can’t load new m/b drivers because intel don’t support NT with this m/b.
At present I can’t upgrade to Win2000 (the obvious next step).
Can anyone suggest a solution?
