Date standardadization in 2000 server

I need help making the date to be standard (with two digits . ie.. mm.dd.yy) accross the network. Whhat are the steps to do do that from my 2000 domain so that all machines in my network have the same date format? Please help

I was not aware that Windows machines support a 2-digit date formate post Y2K. Are you certain that this is possible? Upon checking my command prompt, I see that the date is dd/mm/yyyy, even at the NTVDM level.
