For some reason when I ran dcpromo to promote a 2nd win2k server to a domain controller it doesn’t show up in the
active directory for sites and services.
So I have decided to demote the server with
dcpromo, but when I do I get this error.
[The operation failed because:
the Directory Service failed to replicate off changes made locally.
“The DSA object could not be found”]
Any Ideas how to fix the problem? (either get the new domain controller to show up in active directroy for sites and services or Demote the Domain Controller.)
