Dead at your age
Lockedby maecuff · about 14 years, 7 months ago
Today is going to be a good day.
I get regular email updates from deadatyourage.com. They keep me updated on who I’ve outlived so far. I can accept that some mae find this morbid, but not me.
Anyway, today I found out that I’ve outlived Lurch. Go me!
At your exact age, Ted Cassidy died of complications of open heart surgery. He was a 6′ 9″ character and voice actor who played Lurch on “The Addams Family” (1964-66).
It does occur to me that I have to actually LIVE through this whole day before I can truly make the claim that I’ve outlived Lurch.

It’s not how old you are..it’s how good you look. I just keep getting better and better.
Or, my eyesight is fading at a rapid pace. Either way..

…Alice in Chains, and thinking about whether or not they would have produced much more music had Staley lived.
So, I check out this site, and guess whose name pops up as the notable ‘I outlived them’?
Layne Staley.
Weirdness!!!

but I’ve just gone to sign up. It sounds awesome. Apparently I’ve already outlived Ray Combs (Family Feud) and Michael Bennett (A Chorus Line), and I’ve only got 11 days to go on the King of France to persecuted French Huguenots and started the Italian War.
Thanks Mae. My day just perked up.

Either it’s not as twisted as I thought it was to be cheered up by this..or there are a lot of people who are disturbed as me.

Louis Braille was almost three weeks younger than you when he died of tuberculosis on January 6, 1852. He was a French musician and educator who created a raised-dot printing system for the blind. He died 115 years before you were born.
Neet…and I think we’re all a tad morbit in our own little ways 😉 -

Gianfranco Ferre (Stylistic Director for the Christain Dior)

J. Robert Oppenheimer (father of atomic bomb)
And if I subscribe, it will notify me in 8 days that I outlived an older pop star. :O That did not tempt me to subscribe.

I’ve outlived:
Kenneth Tynan by three days. He was a drama critic and journalist who was the mind behind the erotic stage revue “Oh! Calcutta!” (1969). He died of emphysema on July 26, 1980, when you were 24 years old.Enrico Fermi by about 2 months. He was a physicist who created the first controlled nuclear chain reaction and first nuclear-power plant. He died of stomach cancer on November 28, 1954, 2 years before you were born.
In 11 days, when you reach 53 years and 130 days of age, your lifespan will surpass that of a creator of paradox that a sphere can be reassembled into two spheres the same size as the original.
edit: Holy cow. I’ve been around for 19,477 days. :0

Bloody Mary

I’ve outlived Queen Mary I of England, nicknamed Bloody Mary. (My friends would make some comment about my personality and the possibility that I was her in a past life.)
I’ve also outlived famed Golfer Payne Stewart, who is from my home town, and since his death, they name everything golf related and not so golf related after him.
Apparently, I’m also a Zombie because I didn’t check the dates on the thread. I think I’ll go home and go back to bed. D’oh.
