There are two active network interfaces on our server machine. Both have same default gateway with DHCP enabled.

Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.248.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . : 10.109.56.1

Our network administrator says that setting same default gateway on both adapters is a bad practice. But when we remove default gateway on one of the adapters then it stops sending packets.
Please help me in this regard.
