User has a PIII, 667mhz, Intel 815 motherboard, 256mb ram, running Windows 2000 Pro, Office 2000 Pro products, except Access, which is Access 97.
When opening up sheets in excel, and sometimes word recieves error message: 16 bit system timeout. debug error. Have uninstalled and reinstalled operating system and office products. All hardware appears functional. Error follows the user, new computer recieving same error as previous computer user was using. Please! Somebody help me pinpoint the error. I need to verify that this is a software error only and if possible fix it asap.
