    Deep Freeze Enterprise

    Locked

    by jhultberg ·

I have a question to all of you out there that have ran deep freeze enterprise on a network that expanded across a county before. I would like to know what the possible minimum/maximum bandwith running on say 100 computers with pushing requests and commands over the Enterprise console would be…

the designers? the company that sells this should have a good idea about bandwidth usage.

I looked in their FAQ’s to try to find bandwidth, all they had was the refreshing bandwidth, not how much it could take up when pushing a config file across the network going to some 100 odd computers.

or email; most protocols have some overhead. They may give you figures for one PC and you’d have to calculate for 100.

Do you have a sniffer, or the freeware software equiv plus a net card for this?

Try setting it to capture the packets from one station that you have this installed on (if you have one copy installed).

You’ll probably be able to filter out and find just the packets for this transfer based on what they contain. This should give you an idea.
