Default Behaviour of elevation prompt for Standard Users on all Vista Editi

by gayleribeiro . Updated 19 years ago

I?ve seen 2 contradicting values for UAC Settings for these policies:

On the Ultimate Edition , on the Explain Tab of each Policy it says:
1.User Account Control: Behavior of the elevation prompt for standard users
Default: Prompt for credentials (home) / Automatically deny elevation requests (enterprise)

2.User Account Control: Detect application installations and prompt for elevation
Default: Enabled (home) / Disabled (enterprise)

Which contradicts with
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/windowsvista/security/security_group_policy_settings.mspx#_User_Account_Control

(last updated December 2K6)

According to which there are no differe

1. User Account Control: Behavior of the elevation prompt for standard users
Default: Prompt for credentials
2. User Account Control: Detect application installations and prompt for elevation
Enabled

Which is right?
