Default Child Window Size in IE 6

By David.Slepicoff ·
Is there a way to set the default window size of a child window in IE6 SP1 on W2K, to be maximized. I know programatically this can be accomplished, but I'm looking for a registry tweak that will always open a child window maximized.

Currently, the child window opens at about 33% of the fully maximized size which is very annoying, causing me and several others to always click the maximize button.

Try to resize the window by pulling on the sides.
Do not use the Max button. Next time through it should remember the resizing

This works fine for the current session. If I close IE and reopen it the child window is back to the original 1/3 screen size. I would like a permanent solution that maintains the child window size across sessions.

You can also use F11 button to Max size the IE window.
