Default User Profile doesn’t show printers for domain users

I have copied and recopied a test user into the deault user profile in order for all users to be able to access network printers, but nothing seems to work. I thought at first there was a policy in place that was stopping it, but I can’t find anything. All of the microsoft articles I find seem to deal with local users, but I need to create an image that will have the printers showing for any user who logs on to the domain, not locally. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
