    Defective Windows 7 partition

    Locked

    by dsuwala ·

I’ve tried time and again to install Win 7 Enterprise but unfortunately no workee. The latest blockade when I try to install a dual boot and install Win 7 into partition 2 of a terabyte drive (147.4 GB) is this. “Windows cannot be installed to Disk2 part2 (show details). Windows cannot be installed to this disk. Setup does not support configuration of or installation to disks connecting through a USB or IE1394 port.” What is this and how do I get around this latest glitch? HEELLLPPPP!!!!!

The last thing I tried was to install from a USB but that wouldn’t work either.

This has always been the case with Microsoft OS. You have to install the newer OS first and then the older OS second if you want to dual boot.
