Delegate permissions in Outlook 2000

by jabulani . Updated 25 years, 4 months ago

I have an Exchange 2000 on SBS 2000 with Outlook 2000 clients.

In Exchange, I granted a group of users permission to send mail on behalf of one user, from the Deliver Options Tab under user properties.

When I view mail options for the assigning user in outlook/tools/options/delegates all the assigned users show up as delegates with editor permission.

Also for each of the assigned users, under Outlook/tools/services/Microsoft eschange/properties/advanced I configure outlook to open the assigning users mailbox.

Some of these assigned users cannot expand the mailbox and others are only able to see a limited selection of subfolders.

I then go to the inbox of the assigning user and try to set permission on all subfolders individually but this fails with the error message, “One or more users could not be added to the folder access list. One or more users are already specified”.

Where have I gine wrong in these procedures?
