Delegating password reset responsibility

Hi all,

I am in charge of a small school with about 300 students. We are running Win2003 Server and I have two servers acting as domain controllers.

I find that I keep having to reset the passwords for the students who keep forgetting them and want to delegate this job to a select staff members who agreed to do this.

I have set up the delegation part in AD, however, I don't know how to set up the staff to do this task. They have their own WinXP workstations and I was wondering how do they get to the Users and Computers settings so that they can change the passwords. Do they need to log on to the Domain Controllers or is there a way to put some sort of shortcut on their desktops to access the User accounts.

You need to place the Active Directory Users and Computers MSI on their desktop.

Create a security group for these staff memebers.
Place their user accounts in the group.
Place this security group into Account Operators. They will then have the rights to reset user accounts which are locked and change passwords.
