Delete Win98 folder

By wcp ·
Can a Win98 folder in Windows 2000 Pro be deleted without a problem?

The folder was created during Windows 2K Pro upgrade. There is no intention to go back to Windows 98.

yes,
what not can be deleted are:
the boot files
the c:\windows folder (where the previous os was installed)
the program files folder

and if you are completely sure it came during the upgrade , you can delete it.
