Deleting a screensaver password. W95

By david.waitt ·
How do I delete a screen saver password? The user I am setting up does not remember his password, and would like to set another. I cannot figure out how to get around this. Can anyone help?

Thanks!
Dave

If the screen saver is on, then restart the computer. Then go into Control Panel, Display, Screen Saver and change the password from there.

Thank you, but you can't change the password if you don't know the old password.

Go into the Display Properties under Control Panel. At the screensave tab uncheck the password box. There. The password is reset. Now recheck the box and enter your new password. Good luck.
