Deleting an e-mail

By chunnid ·
I need to delete an email that an employee sent to another from an exchange server as it contains highly confidential information. Does anyone know ythe best and quickest way to do this? Preferably without installing additional software?

Which email do you want to delete?...

The one that was sent or the one that was recieved?

Doesn't 'Horse' & 'Bolt' come to mind?

Exchange "recall" function

by formerly CallPete.com In reply to Deleting an e-mail

If the sender sent the message from Outlook, he can go to his sent items folder and mark the message for "recall".
This will delete the message from any mailbox on the exchange server.
If the message was sent to an outside server, it will simply send a message requesting the recipient to delete the message.
If the data was really confidential, you probably need to start making phone calls requesting that the sender delete the message.

I've always relied on online storage.

Sorry! :)
