Deleting Files

Hi,

Is there a way not to delete a file permanently. Here’s my dilemma, I’m trying to delete a file from my network drive but everytime that I press the delete key I see the red exclamation point which will delete the file permanently. I just want the file to be in the recycle bin when I press the delete key. I have windows 2000 installed on my pc. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.
