Deleting Local profiles

By LeoBloom ·
We have a lot of nt/2000 workstations where I work with numerous users logging in. When servicing the pc's we will delete the local profiles of users who have not logged in for a while. Is it better to delete them by going to System properties, users profiles OR simply deleting the users folder (in either Winnt\profiles or documents and settings on the 2k)?

I always delete the profiles from the System applet in Control Panel, just in case! I don't feel comfortable just deleting the folders directly! Anyway, that's how I handle this.
