Just delete the partitions on your drive and boot with the NT 4 CD (or boot floppies) and install your new OS. You can partition it NTFS or FAT during the installation process. If you have data you need to preserve, back it up (and test the backup) before you clear Win2k Pro.

I have to ask, though…why are you “back-grading”? I have typically found 2000 to outperform NT4 and to be even more stable. Most people are going the opposite direction.

Good Luck…if I can help further, just ask.

      NT outperforms 2k- ALWAYS. Period.
Use the CD to boot and delete partition during setup (L) and again create it. – Its simple.

Donot use DOS Fdisk etc – it wont let you. If your NT isnt bootable(Waezed CD? – I can see from ur alias you are PAK) – Use the three disks to boot – Use google to check how to make the NT Boot cds(or go to bootdisk.com)

NT doesnot always have good drivers – thats the drawback – remember
