I’m working on a dell optiplex 170L.. Initially I retrieved it from a user because the cd drive was not working. The system would recognize the cd rom existed but no disk could be read. I’ve since swapped the cd out leaving the cd on the same secondary ide (cable select) with the same results. I’ve tried new connector cables but nothing seems to work. Help!
