I am using Nvidia GeForce2 MX200 based display adapters in my 2 XP boxes with no problems.

If high speed graphics (gaming) is your goal, then you are somewhat limited to ATI, or Nvidia based cards.

As to what will work best with your system, that somewhat depends on the BIOS and the chipset on the motherboard.

I often need to swap video cards when setting up systems, as some video cards just don't work in some motherboards.

That said, I have had the least problems with ATI and Nvidia cards.

Make sure that you purchase a name brand card from a manufacture that has good support on their website.
You are looking for;
Driver files,
Video BIOS updates,
FAQ section,
and some way to contact tech support if you have a problem.

Just to be a smart A _ _ .

The one that works with XP and does what you want it to do!

Both suggestions above have their glitches, and stop points. None that I have found are infalible. You did not define the parameters for what it will be used for.... (Gaming, Drafting, Pictures, Word processing.
