hi, im new here so let me know if im not allowed to discuss certain things.
k, ive been trying to fix this computer for alomst 2 weeks now with no luck :(. i fist installed the sata hdd, into the dimension 8400, then installed xp, all was going good until a couple files couldnt be copied. i wasnt around or else i wouldve told you what they were. my brother skipped them… then it rebooted like its suppose to and then it said “floppy diskette seek error”
press f1 to continue or f2 to enter setup. so i pressed f1 and it said “NTLDR is missing press ctrl + alt + del to reboot” i tried changing the boot priority, tried dban with the boot priorty on usb/cdrom. tried making a boot disk. tried my xp disk, vista disk…absolutly nothing works!!!
could someone please help me
