It was working fine I even had a warranty but this didnt fix the simple problem all the time with charging it the notebook not a laptop. The screen would go dark if you look real close you can see the windows logo or the screen I was working on no wayto shut it down or turn it off I could not see at all. Someone did turn it off in the middle of the windows xp reinstall I tried to turn it back on but no luck there are no lights its dead even after plugging it into the battery and the charger it just will not turn on for nothing. The charger light is on the battery is hot when it went dead the university class I am taking says that I will get blue error screens from shutting down the computer incorrectly. Suggesting that I use a set of car keys to jump the computer I even found $8,00 package from Israel on Ebay manual to fix or repair or upgrade the dell computers.
The Dell warranty full warranty 24 hours for over a lot of years more than 5 years. Over now.
