I’ve owned a Dell Inspiron 6000 for a few years now, and after digging it out of the closet I’ve decided to get it back in running order. The display element has gone out on it (as is common with this model), the “O” button on the keyboard is broken/missing (I’m not sure if I can replace the key, or if I’ll have to replace the keyboard), and the battery life at full charge is only about fifteen minutes.
I’d appreciate any tips/tricks to solve any of my problems, referrals to sites where I can buy any of the parts I’d need, or advice in general.
