Helo everyone!
I have a 1-year-old Dell Inspiron 700m laptop computer running Windows XP which is maintained extremely well. Recently, my laptop’s battery wasn’t holding a charge very well so I bought a replacement. While I was waiting for the replacement, the laptop’s battery power started cutting out here and there when I moved it a certain way. This same phenomenon occurs with the replacement battery. The laptop is fine as long as it is running on AC power. When it is only running on the laptop battery, it will shut off sometimes when the battery is touched – even slightly. This battery is NOT part of the recent battery recall. (Very weird that it started all of a sudden. It wasn’t dropped, exposed to water, or mistreated in any way – it stays inside all the time.)
Any help out there?
