I have a Dell Inspiron 6400, which is 1.5yrs older. right now battery is lasting for only 10minutes.the problem is when i am connecting AC Power, laptop freezes/response is very slow. and if i remove AC adaptor, computer runs perfectly fine on battery. i think battery is worn out. but the problem is when i removed battery and running laptop only on AC Power, still computer repsonds very slow. how can i disable battery or why i am not able to run laptop with AC on ?please help
