I have a Dell Inspiron 3500 that I’m having a problem with. The monitor will display great at 1024×768 resolution, but if I take it down to 800×600 (or below) the screen fonts are distorted and the graphics unacceptable.
I’ve loaded the driver from the Dell site (NeoMagic MagicMedia 256AV).
This is happening whether I have Windows 98 or 2000 loaded.
Does anyone know if this particular laptop is only capable of displaying 1024 X 768 resolution?
