Has anyone been able to reset a bios password on a Dell c540 without knowing what the previous owners poassword was?The laptop boots up to the Dell screen and then asks for a password. I have been quoted GB?150 commercially for a reset but tha’s more than the laptop’s currently worth! New Dell Mobo’s are ?200! Any advice or help appreciated. (Dell’s own help line cannot help without previous password.)Thanks.
