I have rebuilt an old Dell Lattitude C510/C610 and installed a new hard drive with XPP on it. I could get the unit to boot while XPP was installing but now that XPP is installed it will not boot to the HDD with the OS and I have to use the F12 key and tell it to boot to the OS.
Set up in BIOS is to boot to HDD.
I had to use diskmgmt.msc and cables to go USB ide cables to format and partition the hard drive because the notebook does not have a floppy drive.
What did I over look or is there some other issue this notebook may have?
