We are considering Dell computers for our servers that include san’s and standalone member servers running win 2000 (60 servers in all)
the desktops 700 plus will be running xp professional.
I cam from a long line of compaq, Hp and IBM productsfrom the last 20 years and wondering if I should go with dell’s. Dell seems to undercut every price i got from competitors.
Price is one thing but performance and reliability is my main concern. We keep out pc’s over 5 years and more before a refresh happens. I still have hp P90’s on the floor.
does Dell still have its little quirks and problems like before. Desktop loads are all ghosted and ws are locked down heavily.
Where can I find know problems with manufactures like dell running ios specific to the manufacturer?
