Hey I have a Dell Computer I bought from a friend its a dell dimension 8200
the second i turn it on, it pops up the dell logo then says
TYPE PASSWORD: and press
and I have tried a million things to get this unblocked?
my friend said there is a battery that i can take out and put back in, MSDOS memory they said will be gone, I dont want to lose any files on the computer, but I seriously dont know what I am doing….
EDIT:
I dont want stupid comments, I want the files cause it has stuff from a long time ago, files about quicken, and microsoft word and just easy things, but if i reporgram it, i dont have the discs….i just want to remove the password….
i think i might know how now…
