Hello, and thanks for reading this. Here is what I am looking to do:
I need to deploy Internet Explorer 5.5 to many machines in WAN. However, I do not want to go to each machine and use Windows Update because, with the size of the lines that we use for our WAN, the install will take about 1 hour per machine.
An easier method, if possible and/or available, would be to burn the install onto a CDRW, and then install at each workstation. The only problem is actually getting the entire 18.1 MBfile; I haven’t found a spot on Microsoft’s Download Center to actually download the entire file, only the 500KB file that starts the install process.
Any help with finding the file that I need would be greatly appreciated 🙂
