Deploying win2k Server

i am thinking of implementing win2k enviroment in the following procedure.
1- DC: first i will install win2k server with the help of smart start for compaq.
then i will install active directory.
2 DNS – on the second machine i will install win2k server and and configure DNS.

so my question now is how is the procedure to install the DC(active directory and win2k server)
and the DNS server too? and also any addtional thing that i have to do to configure it properly.

i will be also glad if you can share me your ideas on how to implement groups and ou’s and also
to creat users using templates.
