designing guidelines for email response

Can anyone tell me if there are email response guidelines available in format, or on a web site, that I can reference in creating a Procedures Manual. (i.e. Efficiency, Courtesy, Responsive Interaction) and so forth?

Keep in mind we do not currenty have an email response application at hand. We are
using Netscape's email application.

I don't know of any online but a good place to start would be HR reps. Usually this stuff is given to new employees so getting a hold of an HR group would be a good start.

Use any browser to do a search on standards and guidelines for business computing. You should get returned more than a few sites that offer template doucments that you can use as a starting point.
