One of my clients recently asked me to make the text background of the icons on her desktop transparent – similar to her friend’s computer. Sure enough a quit search revealed that on some of the desktops, the icon text background had color while others were transparent. I’ve scratched my head trying to find a clue as to how to accomplish this. Her OS is WinXP Pro SP2.
I’ve found some programs which will do this but seeing that on some computers Icon Backgrounds are transparent, I’d like to know which registry key to modify and how.
