I have a Dell Latitude C810, running Windows 2000 Pro with the latest patches. After logging on the screen displays the background only. I can bring up task manager with Ctrl|Alt|Delete, then under the Aplications tab start a new task. I start explorer.exe and this brings the desktop icons and taskbar back. The problem returns after a rebooting.
Any advice?
