Re: Desktop wont load

Solution:
Get a second hdd, load on windows and then you should (in your case i hope this works)be able to look inside your other hdd and copy any folders and important folders over to your new hdd, motherboard drivers you can run off your motherboard disk(s). This is my simple and fast solution.

in support.microsoft.com
sounds like maybe you should have run a restore, not a repair. repair won't alter those settings betcha.
so you can login but your desktop stays blank, yes?
so search support.microsoft.com for 'blank desktop'
