How can I get my PC to detect my CD Rom drive? I was given a old computer that has the drives partitioned, and now the D drive is now part of the hard drive. I have gone to the device manager to assign the CD Rom a new drive letter, to no avail. It’s also telling me that the device is working properly. A friend told me that I need to go into the BIOS and change a few things around, but he wasn’t able to tell me what. Help !!!!
