Determine what protocol is being used

By djsde ·
Using Windows NT 4.0 Workstation SP6a. I am wondering what command to use when trying to determine what protocol is being used to connect to the network.

Any help would be appreciated

Determining what protocol is simply a matter of what protocol did you bind to the NIC your using. If your unsure of that, try this: Go to Start, settings, Network & Dial up connections, ckick on local area connection. In the Local Area Connection window, click properties. This will open the properties page of your NIC card. Components used by your NIC will be listed.
