Determining When Nobody Is Logged In

By Kevdog78 ·
I work in a decent sized Windows NT domain and I currently have a need to find out when nobody is logged into a machine and it is sitting at the Windows NT Security box. From this point I would be able to remote control the machine and do maintenance while not disturbing the user. If anybody out there could tell me of any way of determining how to do this I would truly appreciate it ! Thanks in advance.

Use the server manager to determine if a given PC is connected to a server. Network connections are only restored when a user logs in.

Open the Server Manager of the Domain, then open the View and select the Servers only, then choice that Server (PDC or BDC(s)) which you want to work on and double click to open it(or, go to Computer, open Properties...), then open the In Use. You can see who are current login your this Domain and what are they doing there.
