I’m on a project and need to destroy 500+ hard drives. I don’t necessarily have to wipe the drives, but just need assurance that the drives/info on the drives will be destroyed permanently. What is the fastest and cheapest way to do this? Would drilling a hole suffice? Or is there something else I can do? I pretty much just want to make sure data can’t be obtained and destroy the drives at the same time.
