New member here and been searching for days scouring the web for articles or any VB (.NET or VB6) related source code on any idea or samples on HOW TO DEVELOP/PROGRAM A VIRTUAL WEBCAM THAT TAKE MOVIE FILES (e.g., AVI) AS A SOURCE.
All I keep seeing are samples and tutorials on how to capture or save images/video records from a webcam. I would want it the OTHER WAY AROUND (movie source to webcam) if possible.
Similar threads had been started on the forum with zero replies. The goal here is to develop a virtual webcam (without a webcam) software that can configure it’s video source so that it comes from a movie file (e.g., avi file).
Any example, tutorial or any bit of insights or algorithms on what technology to use would be helpful so I can have an idea where to start. I’m at a loss.
