I have been tasked with creating a DFS Namespace for a 100GB shared folder. Is this possible? Will the share need to be broken up because of size limits? There will be two Windows 2003 servers hosting and replicating the namespace and each system is fairly beefy so the hardware shouldn’t be a problem. I just don’t know if DFS can handle the size of the share. I was thinking of using Robocopy to initially copy over the share. Is this a bad idea? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
