DHCP issues

by gerrybhoy . Updated 18 years, 4 months ago

We have a windows network running. One of the Windows 2k3 server is running DHCP. Everything has been fine for months until the other week. PC’s usually have an ip address of 192.168.2.xxx. But the computers that have dropped off the network have been coming up with 192.168.183.xxx. We have been able to fix this issue bu disabling the network card, re enabling it, and running ipconfig /renew. Does anyone know why this would be happening?? How can it be prevented from happening again?
