This may be simple to some of you, but I haven’t figured it out yet. I have a network that I am wanting to put different segments on and use DHCP. I currently have two segments. They are 192.168.0.1/254 and 192.168.1.1/254. My 1st segment has DHCP enabled on it. My 2nd segment is small and uses static IPs. I have approximately 10 servers on this network. The clients on segment 1 access all of the servers, but the clients on segment 2 only need to access 2 of the servers. I currently have 2 NICsin each server that requires access from both segments. They each have a static IP corresponding to the different segments. I do not have enough IP addresses to put the 2nd segment in with the 1st one. I am wanting to enable DHCP on the 2nd segment without the clients from the 1st segment getting the addresses. The 2 servers that need access from both segments are running NT4 and my DHCP server is W2K. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
