DHCP on VPC 2004

By Powerslave ·
I have 3 VM's on VPC 2004 the 1st vm is a 2003 server configured as DC and the other two are xp with sp2, both the xp machines are based on the same base image having the same mac add. thats the reason they get same ip address from the DHCP, any work around for this problem folks???

VPC 2004 allows you to have up to 4 IP addresses. If your XPs have the same name that could be the problem. Try renaming one of them and rejoining it to the domain. You can check if the name is mapped with an IP address by using DHCP within Administrative Tools on the DC.

As I recall VPC allows you to share the machine's ip have the VPC get it's own. Try having them get their own, or hard coding it.
