Having problems with slow dhcp, devices take ages to get an address. Running VLANs with ip-helper addresses configured. dhcp is running on Windows Server 2003 and i’m getting some strange log entries instead of the usual:
11 Renew,192.168.1.1,
I seem to also be getting lines and lines of:
15 NACK,192.168.1.1, 7274722D70726F62652D31363231352C32323438
Anyone know why it’s denied and why we’re getting the huge string at the end instead of the host mac address??
We have plenty of addresses left in scope.
